I am looking to purchase some upholstered furniture (long sofa, love seat, chair and storage ottoman). I prefer fabric over leather.

I've been doing some research, trying to find a good quality product that will endure the fun of two small children and a husband who naps on the sofa.

I'm not an expert, but have been learning about 8 way hand tied, using 5/4 kiln dried wood etc and want this type of quality as a minimum, but don't have enough experience to distinguish between the brands that advertise this level of quality on their websties.

So far I am fairly settled on Huntington House who advertises that they sand their frames etc. Are they the best out there that is somewhat affordable (i.e. a level below EJ Victor)?

Can anyone help me with ranking or distinguishing between the level of quality of the following 4 brands: Huntington House, Fairfield Chair, Greene Brothers, and Lexington Home Brands?

Is there another high quality brand you recommend over these?
