Carol...Annie... what to do?
Comments (11)What Robin said. So if you want to re-process for long-term storage you certainly can. It might have been a defective lid or it could be there was some residue on the lip of the jar or a little nick or chip you missed, so if you do re-process, check the jar extra-carefully. I'd be inclined not to bother. If the jam turned out well, it's better not to cook it any more than it already has been. A full-sugar jam like this will keep in the fridge a long long time, well beyond 2 weeks, and as Robin says, doesn't pose a safety hazard regardless. You were planning to eat some soon anyway, weren't you? It's pretty difficult to stash every single jar without having a good "sample" right now. Comments (23)Wow. I love this room as is. I don’t think you need a thing. It looks airy and roomy and those glorious windows really pull you forward. If you really want something to visually break that gap, perhaps a tall tree or plant that just protrudes into the walkway in that far left corner in the foreground. Not the window corner, but the one as you enter the room on the left. We never see this space from your pictures, but I’m guessing that’s just a shallow corner?...See MoreAm I petty what do I do with the couch pillows?
Comments (34)I have to wear supportive footwear due to arthritis in my feet. I never go barefoot. Well, maybe for a few steps on the beach. Anyway, I live on a farm with lots of animals (and don’t have severe diarrhea despite the bacteria). I have farm shoes in the mud room, so change my footwear to do chores. But if either my husband or I are working outside and need to dash into the kitchen for a drink, we do so without removing shoes. It’s a tile floor that gets quick mopped a couple times a week (swiffer wet is awesome for this task). The whole “no shoes in the house” is just silly, as is the habit of allowing pets on the furniture and in beds. WRT the original question, dogs are much easier to train than men, so decide whether or not you are going to trade your relationship for a couple of pillows. Which do you value more?...See MoreHU-330882620
