Is it safe to burn the leftover duglas fur wood ?

I got a pile of leftovers from 2x4 and 2x6 duglas fir wood from recent remodeling. There are also some old wood that were removed (house is abt 30 years old).

Ine contractor told me its safe to burn them as they are not treated wood. Another told me any wood over 15 years ago should not be burn as they used to be treated back then. I got some wood from the garden but not enough to last the winter but I got plenty of the ones from home depot. I know i should not burn plywood, treated wood etc... they already trashed.

Should i burn these or throw them away as well ?

thank you
