Did you ever install this product? Considering the same and can't find any recent posts with information on how it has performed for others.

we have a gray armstrong vinyl tile with a white color grout. They told us the grout was partially silicone-based and wouldn't discolor and stain like normal grout. They lied. Granted, it isn't the same, but it IS cream colored now from sand, dirt, etc. I did read that you can seal the grout after they put it in, and that is probably what we should have done. I plan on really cleaning it well and then sealing it. The nice thing is that a magic eraser cleans it up and brightened it well, and although, tedious a bit, it was cheap and easy enough to do. we also have 3 dogs and cats and kids.

I'm getting the Alterna in mesa stone light gray. I saw it in the store and loved it. I didn't want tile in the 2nd floor bath where the washer and dryer are located next to the bedrooms. I thought it would be an echo chamber with tile and wanted something softer and to absorb the sound. I've bought my tiles but they haven't been installed yet. Maybe next week. I can send pictures then.

Chisue: Exactly! I don't like a lot of the "faux stone" patterns -- too complicated, and I don't want to take away from the wood floor. I want something that is just "there." Hit on 4 more options today (at 2 different stores) -- two are Mannington sheet vinyls, the others are a sheet vinyl from a company I've not heard of. Have samples of the first 2 being mailed. (Plus today I got my first estimate, based on my I-wouldn't-bet-my-paycheck-on-it measurements. Yikes! It's been a while since I replaced the carpeting and installed the wood floor in my place, so I've forgotten that all the basics of a home just don't come cheap! Even with vinyl!)
