meatloaf in muffin tins?

I read a tip on this forum to make meatloaf in a muffin tin instead of a loaf pan. I want to do this, but I have a couple questions. How full should I fill each cup? How do I get each meat muffin out without it falling apart... I usually have a problem with regular meatloaf because it's too moist... I have to spoon it out or chill it first. How does this method change the baking time? I know I tried a cake recipe in muffin tins once before and forgot to reduce the time it took them to back... My yellow cake recipe produced "chocolate" muffins because I burned them so badly!
