I'm thinking of putting this floor in my kitchen. My GC wants to put the floor down before the cabinets. From what I've read, you should put this floor down after the cabinets. Unless, if you attach your cabinets to the floor (which I will be doing for my penninsula), then it's recommended when you drill to make the hole larger than the screw that's going into the floor so that the floor can still "float".

I'm very confused. Anyone have any advice for me? The kitchen will be approx 11'X11' with about 70% of the lower cabinets sitting on the perimeter of the floor. I'm concerned the weight of the cabinets will prevent the floor from floating. The kitchen opens up to a DR approx 11'X11' where this floor will also be in.

Thanks for you help!
