For design temps: Outside: I used avg high/low temps since 2000 from NCDC website which are 99 and 7 but I rounded to 100 and 10. There was typo, I had 105 instead of 100 for summer. Ooops, that might change things! Indoor: Summer temp 68, winter temp 72 and RH 50. New numbers with corrected typo: Gain is 32,632 and loss is same 61,285. I know the âÂÂstandardâ indoor temp setting is 75/68 for summer/winter but that is not realistic for me. Especially in summer. Dealer is very comfortable with 70K, especially with variable speed and referred me to the equipment size guarantee on estimate. @Maureen-- Thanks for the pics! Love the black sashes with the brown overhang in the first pic may go that route in terms of a color combo. The neighbors have a stoop where they were able to keep the stairs, paint them, and install an iron railing. Both houses are eligible to be on the state historic register-- the unit next door was slightly bigger and built by a local merchant with this one gifted to his daughter on her wedding. It has retained some of its very interesting interior features like a servant's back staircase, very unusual and deep baseboard molding and stair banisters, but it was used as a rental for many years.

I don’t feel that Hallmark carried as many lighter colors but def check them out. If anyone near you carries the Wicander’s Hydrocork line they make beautiful floors, too. Have some lovely light colors. Karndean makes Korlock which also has beautiful floors. And Southwind has some new ones that have a small bevel and the colors are muted. looked at these and ordered samples online from American Carpet Wholesalers in Dalton, Ga. the Timber Lodge and Prairie Grass were really pretty. I didn’t mind a small bevel but I didn’t care for the large bevel. My husband didn’t want it at all so we have no real bevel. (Also, some floors have a micro bevel which to me looks more like wood.) it’s all personal pref and I used instagram to do a lot of research on how the product looks down in real homes. The company pix always look weird and unrealistic. Let me know how it goes! Can’t wait to see what you find and what you choose:)

Nicole - thanks for your confirmation. Yep - it was a $10,000 increase - it's nuts. I honestly thought the insurance company made a mistake. My previous car was a MB SUV and I had no intention of trading it in until I took it in for a warranty service in August 2020 - during Covid. A salesman in the showroom approached me and said he had a customer who was looking for a model like mine - it was a 550 ML diesel with 45,000 miles. Diesel's are hard to find and he offered me a great price - cash - and if i picked another car from one of their 6 dealerships he would add another incentive. The only catch was that the buyer wanted the car ASAP since he wanted to tow his boat to Florida. The owner of the dealerships was there and when I told him that our family had bought or leased 7 cars from their dealerships in the last 10 years he upped the offer. You never really know if you've gotten the best possible deal when talking with a car salesmen but I think I did all right. So my new car is 14 months old and only has 5000 miles on it. I hope nothing ever happens to it because I wouldn't want to be car shopping right now
