Insulating / heat shield for a BBQ against a wall

Hi, I didn't see a forum for BBQ's, so I am going to take a shot at posting my question on this forum.

I am expecting delivery of a big gas BBQ tomorrow. My plan is to put it against a garage with wood siding. It will be approx 1 foot away from the wall.

The mfg. Weber says in their instructions to keep at least 2 feet away from any combustible materials. Since we have a small backyard, with very limited placement options, and also the only place with an outdoor electrical outlet, putting it next to the garage wall is our only option. But we don't want to set fire to the garage :)

I'm hoping someone can recommend material I can nail to the garage wall that will serve as a heat shield / insulating material. Similar to what one would put on the wall behind a wood stove. And hopefully something I can pickup at Home Depot or Lowes.

Thanks.
