Any time is a good time to apply Compost tea. The time of day is not scientific/proven that I know of. I just personally feel evening is better. Theres really nothing you can do about the Chlorine in your city water/irrigation. Some of he microbes may be killed off, but plenty will still survive. It is good/recommended to de-chlorinate the water before brewing as you did. It gives the microbes a fighting chance. If your lawn is small and manageable, I recommend spreading compost by hand. But, for a large lawn, this could be back breaking. Thats why alot of people spray compost tea. Im not sure about the quality of compost you bought. I do know that the best compost needs a proper ratio of carbon-rich materials, or "browns," and nitrogen-rich materials, or "greens." Among the brown materials are dried leaves, straw, and wood chips. Nitrogen materials are fresh or green, such as grass clippings and kitchen scraps. All of which can be made in your back yard.

The fecipe you posted could go in the refrigerator after the first kneading....but the interesting thing I am learning is that a rest in the refrigt akes the place of most of the kneading... Un baked dough keeps 5 to 6 days before it begins to go gray and funky.....but when it does....just add more flour and water and a bit of sugar and call it a starter or poolish or biga or whatever.....use some in your next batch of bread. Really unless it begins to mold or get really nasty sour, it's good for a long time! Linda C

If the installer didn't double wrap and properly lap the underlying building paper, the installation will fail. If you're in the Pacific Northwest or Vancouver, give it a year or two. Elsewhere, damage may not start showing up for five years or more. (Just based on what I see in my area as far as EIFS installations with the same problem.) Unless your contract said he was to install the veneer as per the manufacturer's directions, I suspect it will be hard to prove "damages" in a Court. Nothing has fallen down yet. And Codes may not require a double wrap. At the very least, be sure he follows installation instructions for the balance of the job. You might want to consult a lawyer before proceeding further. Best of luck with your remodel! Mine is in week six and heading into the homestretch! Things I hadn't thought of ahead of time that I wished I had - the lighting plan. Go to an lighting store with your layout and have them give you a recommendation on overhead and undercabinet lighting. There are so many options available today than just 6" cans. Also the color, location and orientation of the outlets, especially on the backsplash area. Paint color - took me 3 weeks to find a paint color I liked. Make sure you have extra trim - my contractor needed to use some extra trim molding so I had to order more which held things up. Also pick out your cabinet hardware and decide where you want to place them on the cabinets. As everyone said, take lots of pictures and get some earplugs! It can be very noisy at times! Good luck!
