Glue down engineered on slab--moisture barrier needed?

We are getting an Owens engineered floor ("plankfloor" I think it's called, it's a finish-on-site engineered floor) that will be glued down to our slab. House is about 40 yrs old. We are getting conflicting advice about the need for a moisture barrier--some say we should put down "MVP" first, other installers have never heard of it.

My understanding is that this Owens product is designed to go on slabs, so do we need a moisture barrier too? Or is that overkill?

Any advice appreciated. Does anyone have experience where engineered wood has had problems when glued to a slab and a moisture barrier was not used?

Thanks,

Sparky
