How to remove/prep a glazed concrete floor ????

Hi, My family is fortunate enough that are buying a vacation home for retirement. In the mean time it will be rented.

Problem. Most of the house is a glazed contrete in beige but the master bed+bath are this hideous dark green! Believe me, my favorite color is green but this has to go. In this climate and with tenants I just want to remove or ready the floor so the glazing in this area can be redone or a new painted surface will stick to it. In other words neutralize it.

What chemicals or methods should I use?

Any suggestions about the what after treatment? Rest of the glazed concete floors are a beige. I know porch paint would work and be fairly easy. I'm thinking try to get close to this glaze maybe harder than the floor porch paint.

Thanks for you help. I'm travelling over there shortly so I'll be doing it myself and have 3 days to accomplish it,,,actually less since I'm going to paint the room first.

Appreciate it, Nicole
