Hi,
I have the Orbitrek Eliptical although I think this one is a newer version. Doesnt seem to have any extra added features though for the higher price tag. I think they were asking $279 and I paid only $172 I believe in April. I just LOVE my Orbitrek!! I know some people have complained of problems and squeeking but I have had no problems at all. And that has been using it 5-7 days a week for 30 minutes to 1 1/2 hours nonstop. I would definitely recommend it! I wouldnt be in as good of shape as I am now without it. I would consider the cheaper model though if I were you or wait until the new one lowers in price a bit. Good Luck!

Tami, do you live in Canada or the US?? IF you live in Canada where did you buy your orbitrek elliptical from?

Lower resistance/fast pace burns more calories, but won't make you bulk up. I know how it is when you work your legs and then end up with these huge thighs because the quadriceps are so large!Then your jeans fit funny. The higher the resistance, the more muscle you will build. It is just like weightlifting. The advantage is that your body burns more calories when there is more muscle for it to support. Good luck. Now I guess I should go downstairs and jump on MY elliptical....

We are looking at houses today, including the one that we had previously placed an offer on. Oddly enough, they wouldn't counter our offer, but they have already lowered the price 10K. But I have already talked myself out of it for issues such as the easement and the street that it is on. I don't know if this was a self protection, my way of dealing with disappointment, or if these things are still really valid and need to be strongly taken into consideration. I'll see what my reactions are to it this time around! Check out this beauty of a room at the house I loved but my husband didn't. This is a master bedroom with gorgeous wall and ceiling moldings and bay window nook. I can just picture it with a vintage chandelier in place. there is a store in Canada called Showcase that sells Informercial products... check the website: http://www.tvshowcase.com/ to see if there is a store near you... they sell the orbitrek! I've bought and returned stuff at that store, and they were very good about it.

Hi,

I live in the US and purchased it from QVC I believe for $172 I think. Way cheaper than the informercial. Hope you can find a good place to get it.

haha k. I just checked the flyer and they have it on sale for $239.99, so i am going around reading threads to see if it is worth my cash. I live in Canada, Surrey BC. So if you live in that area, do check the canadian tire flyer ;).
