thanks again for all the wishes, I had a fabulous lunch at LemÃ©ac, my favorite restaurant, it's bistro style. This dessert (which I had) is to die for, the middle picture, Pain Perdu, it's a thick brioche done french toast style, caramel drizzle and an ice cream they call "milk jam" I just looked it up, it's dulce de leche. the photos are from their website, they don't credit them.

We will probably do something like that, and use it as our table with 6 counter height stools. Were your cabinets underneath all curved and operable?? I'm thinking 36" round for base cabinetry with 12" overhang. Base would be simpler to build if I didn't require any storage area, still unsure if I need it to open. I didn't know circular cabinets were available, your picture looks circular. Thank you so much for posting pictures, very surprised you were still visiting the forum!!Its the first one I've seen.

I noticed that it was about 15 degrees warmer than usual in Calgary while the NE U.S. was experiencing blizzards (and maybe still are). Meanwhile, it's been 10 degrees colder than normal here, and I hope this is not a long term trend. Kevin thinks that weather extremes are increasing, but we really cannot know what will happen in the near future.

Glad to hear that you had a great birthday! I've always wanted to visit Calgary (and Montreal, for that matter).
