Asia? no Is the area on an island? no Canada? no clue: The area was a fort before it was a park. clue: A well-known feature was named in 1870. clue: If you saw an untitled photo of the well-known feature, you likely would not know where it was located. Within the 50 united states? yes In Washington state? no West of the continental divide? no and yes Is it in Montana? no clue: Photographer Ansel Adams took many pictures of the feature and the surrounding areas. Is it Yosemite, Half Moon Dome. no The Tetons? Not the Tetons themselves Snake river? No clue: This geological feature provides a unique, intermittent show.

According to a book picked up with a google search, the mineral distribution for its deposits occur in Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Georgia, Idaho, Kansas, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, Pennyslvania, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia and Wyoming. ..just in case any curious minds wonder where this mineral is concentrated and mined for commercial\industrial uses. :)
