I weighed in this morning and was pleasantly surprised to see that I have lost the amount I gained awhile ago. Back down to 162.5 That is 1.5 pounds this last week. I know the cardiologist said I didn't need to lose more, but I do want to get down to at least 150. I'm a big frame. Hope I can keep it off. I'm still striving for 1200 or 1300 calories, per day. that is a lot of food, if you are careful what you choose. I need to get more exercise but walking outside is dangerous in this ice and snow. I've got to get on the exercise bike more, I know. I'm just lazy!!! I also do want to try to pick up a pedometer if I can find one.

Hi Ivamae Thats nice .. I havent had a chance to weigh this week. I am in a maintenance mode from past 3 months .. So am really happy as long as I do not gain any weight. Thank fully I did not gain any weight in Holidays but do seem to have been binging a lot this month with quite a few Bday parties around. Anyway, I have to get back to my workout schedule and reduce another 10 pounds to be on the slimmer side. Harold.. hope you are doing well too. Good Morning, I'm still half asleep this morning. Stayed up until almost 3am reading stuff on forums here on the garden web. It is addictive!!!! Anyway, today is a big day at our house. I'm taking our Baby to get his learner's permit today. Of course DH had put his Soc.Sec. card up so we would know where it was and we tore the house apart last night to find it with no luck. SO..... it's off to the Soc. Sec. office 1st to get another one before the DMV. Y'all pray for me because in a "Senior Moment" I told him that he could drive home!!!! That is a SCARY thing. I may drive out of the city and get off of the 4 lane before I let him get under the wheel for the first time. Back to the business at hand... My weight for this week is: 157lbs - lost 1. Have a great day, Betty P. S. - I almost forgot, I actually got in 30 minutes on the treadmill yesterday for the 1st time since DH's aunt came to live with us at the 1st of June. She didn't like it and kept trying to talk me off. I just kept telling her "Just a few more minutes"!!!! I think I will have to wait until DH gets home so he can sit and occupy her while I walk. Man, it felt good!

I hope everybody had a happy Thanksgiving day. Well, I guess it's just me and you Ivamae. Not enough activity here to justify a new thread, so I'll just post this week's results here. I stayed at 189 for the third week in a row. I ate an average of 2025 calories per day, and burned an average of 328 per day while exercising, recording an average of 12755 steps per day on the pedometer. I wolfed down 2486 calories worth of Thanksgiving goodies, indulging in some apple pie, fudge and pumpkin roll. Not too bad though, as I managed to break even for the week.
