I've always noticed that Chic-fil-a always has polite efficient staff. Other places not so much. And I agree these places are not meant to be careers. I know there are people with families on fixed incomes, but they are the ones qualifying for free schooling. So take advantage and make a change. When I went to school (trade) I was one of 2 people that did not get any assistance. I had to take out two loans. My single mom made too much. The kids that got their school for free didn't always take it seriously and some even just stopped showing up. So I don't know. More and more people want something for nothing. And the more you give them the less they want to earn it. Ok the cost of living has gone up but pay has stayed the same. But if they start increasing everyone things will go up even more. And how is it fair for fast food workers to get the same pay or maybe even more as say an EMS worker? How do you compare making a burger to helping save someone's life?

I purchased this plant in a 4 inch pot from Susan about a year ago.... I just love it! I have seen her relist it a few times. Next spring I'm sure mine will be ready for cuttings, as she has already escaped her trellis and, very inconveniently, started climbing up into some out of reach wall décor.

I love McDonald's coffee, detest Tim Horton's coffee and will only drink Starbucks if that is my only option. There is one McDonald's around here though that makes the worst coffee and I can't figure out how it can taste so different than the others. We avoid going to that McDonalds but when my brother brings me a coffee I can always tell by the taste of the coffee he bought it at that particular McDonald's. My cousin was a manager at McDonald's for over 30 years and even she can't figure out why that coffee is so different McDonald's closest to where I live is really popular with older seniors in the mornings, this one has the comfortable seating and fireplace and sometimes they bring in a musician and they love their discounted coffee. I think if you get a small coffee sometimes you can get a refill.
