Well, Linda, I thought he was dead and when I came out to compare him to your picture he had squirmed/rolled his way across my kitchen counter. His legs don't appear to be working right. Hopefully he will make a recovery. Anyhoo, Linda, he does not have black dots or any other markings except the pink diamond outlines, two on his back. Thanks so much, though, this is fascinating! I am going to put him back out in the yard now :-)

The first issue is "Amish" and has a black and white cat. it appeared in the March/April 1986 issue The second issue is "Nantucket" featuring a Siamese cat. It was in the May/June 1986 issue The last was "Appalacian" in the July/August 1986 issue and featured a tabby cat. (Cross Stitch & Country Crafts magazine)
