Linda, Thanks for looking at these. Took several more photos of the monstrosity - hopefully these show better detail....? The doll is made of plastic. The head and arms are soft plastic, the body is a harder plastic material. The hair is not painted, I guess a 'wig', then? She's about 18" tall, with a baby body and eyes that close. The printing on the back of her neck says Reliable Canada so I took a look at their web site, but can't figure out which doll she would be. Thanks, again. Margaret

Thanks everyone for all the comments on TJ. She does have a Holiday dress for Christmas if I get her changed. I did put a little pair of DGD's gingerbread socks on her after seeing Teegan. The halo and wings came with a Christmas book one of my DF bought DGD a few years ago. She always buys her some kind of a book every year. Can you tell she was a teacher? Invitations? If you promise to bring Teegan, I'll do it! Maybe Jeanne should be sending invitations since she's had Dollbaby longer. Or maybe Candy or Dream since they have had their girls for a long time.LOL Candy, hope you will share Rosemary May with us. After reading about your little ones not caring for her reminded me of a picture I have. It's DGD looking at our Big Santa when she was a Baby. She is almost in tears. If I come across it will share here and with her and see what she says. I gave all my baby clothes to DSis years ago so have to use what DD saved of DGD's. Wish I would of gotten TJ sooner and I could of sent outfits to everyone on here for their little ones. We buy DGD way to many clothes but she's in a 6X now so no way to use them on TJ. Punk

Jeanne, I love that outfit on Dollybaby! Adorable. Karen, Teegan looks delighted with her new tree, village house and santa. So sweet. I still love her on the sled too. I had redressed TJ in her Christmas dress but hadn't got that picture and table posted when I seen this post. BTW, things are moving pretty fast here for me these days. So I took her out of the high chair and thought I would set her on the old sled. Didn't work, her little legs don't spread that far, so sat her in front of it with some snowies and her bear. Then I remembered seeing everyones neat ice skates. I ran to get a set I had painted but could only find one. Yes, one! The other one must be out in the shed. To cold to go hunt it down tonight so decided to share the one I found.LOL Placed it on top of the sled and here she is. I have a couple of the kids little red wagon's that I will have to drag out and play with sometime. Dollbaby & Teegan, TJ's ready,"Let's Party". Hope the others will join the party here. Punk

My earliest memory is only a small snippet in time. I may have been 4 years old. My dad was in the barn yard trying to start the family car, a Model T Ford. One rear wheel was jacked up and the front wheels chocked. I suppose this was to prevent the car from running over him as he hand cranked the engine. He couldn't be sure if the transmission was in neutral or that it would stay there. I do not recall if he was able to get it running. I know that some time between that event and by the time I was 6 yrs old, that car had been discarded. He sold the engine and transmission to someone who was going to make a stationary power stand and the remaining chassis was dragged into a brushy patch in the pasture below a hill our house sat on. There it lay slowly disappearing with time. I have a fleeting memory of Christmas visit when my mother took my sister and me to her parents place in Oklahoma, 500 miles from our home. I remember nothing about the trip to and from that place. I remember being tossed back and forth like a ball by my uncles and badly buring both hands. Their kitchen was equipped with a wood burning stove. Granny had cleared the ash box and placed the glowing embers in a metal box. It was at that moment when I ran from the living room into the kitchen, tripped and fell jamming both hands into the ash box and burned both hands. It hurt and I suppose that is why I remembered that incident. Mom was angry with me because she had told me a short time before not to run in the house, and now I was injured. For the next week, one of my aunts attended to my wounds. My fingers were loosely wrapped in gauze and chicken fat applied to keep the fingers from sticking together. Each day, she cleaned the wounds and re-dressed the fingers. She was very gentle and used a chicken feather to touch my burns because I was so very fearful of anyone touching the burned region - it hurt too much. It must have worked becasue I did not develop any lasting scars. My reliable memories begin at about age 5.8 yr when I entered first grade at a one-room country school. We had been reduced to travel by horse and buggy for a few years until our economic condition improved. We were unhappy with out lot in life, however, our home life was good and our little family was a very cohesive unit.
