hello..I make rag dolls and have seen many with wood frames. like legs and feet.and they are free standing..30" tall or so.can anyone tell me where to find a pattern. ive searched the world over it seems.sorry for the lack of typing skills ..ive got a 3mo old in my arms..lol

Thank you, Thank you. That is exactly the rag doll pattern I was looking for. I had made several girl dolls and several boy dolls many years ago and had forgotten some of the steps. Now that the grandchildren have grown up and have children of their own they want them to have the dolls too. I will be glad to make them. ggks

Hi everyone. I recently found a childhood doll of mine which I thought was lost forever. She still in ok condition despite being in the attic for 20 years. She was made by a neighbour as a gift. The neighbour has since moved on and I have no Ideas. She's stocky, firmly stuffed, possibly with wool, she used to be able to stand on her own feet ( there is some kind of cardboard in the bottom of her feet that has since warped.) She was my all time favourite toy. Can anyone out there recognise the pattern as I' d love to make another for a young relative. She did not come with the clothes she's wearing in the photo. She came in a short dress and the felt shoes pictured.
