I have been looking for the milk disk doll pattern/disks/photos for years! A very special lady who took care of me made these in pastel colors and they were beautiful! This was in the late 1950's. Liddybuff, you're welcome. Isn't that just the most clever idea? There are some amazingly creative genius women on the web. I couldn't believe how quick and easy this was. If your doll has much of a figure, you will see just where to make darts to flatten your "master pattern" out. Remember that this will make a garment that is skin tight, so allow a little extra seam allowance, and a little more again if it's a dress going over a slip, or shoes going over socks, etc. Between this trick and the book, I'm all set to sew about anything I can imagine (or figure out from photos).
