needle sculpting pattern

Does anyone know where I can get the instructions for doing the faces for this craft??? They are asking $20 can for a pattern.... I am trying to put some ideas together to raise money for a charity (pet rescue). PLEASE HELP!!

could be, Ruthie, lol. I'm not sure. I just saw these dolls that were hand-stitched. The skin was a lycra flesh-tone and the faces were soo life-like! I want to make some dolls that have facial expressions. Do "little people" have that? can you help me out? please!!

A red dragon afghan. My granddaughter loves dragons, so I found a clip art graphic through Google images. Then I went to the website (that was recommended here)that takes your graphic and puts it on a grid, for needlework. This one is 120x150. I have finished and mailed a few baby gifts to a young mom with a new baby who is a friend with two of my kids. I made her 3 generous burp cloths, a pair of booties and a vest. But the big gift was a crocheted name baby blanket. I used the Caron Simply Soft ABC pattern and spelled out the baby's full name instead of doing the alphabet. It turns out really handsome, and is usually a smaller blanket, good for the cradle, stroller or buggy, and the car seat. I also just finished another vest for my grandson and some fingerless mitts for homeless kids in San Francisco. I knit hats and now mitts for them all year and mail them off in December when they distribute them. Lucky me, my sister is learning to dye and spin yarn, so she gives me lots of her yarns to turn into hats for them.

This is a fun thread! Yep, I thought about shaving it, AND about shaving the one DH has kept for lo, these many years! He'd miss it though, eventually. THEEEEENNNN I thought, Hey, TMG, how 'bout one of those singing deer heads you get for a gag gift at the sporting goods store? Ok, maybe not. THEN I thought, how about filling that plastic deer with concrete, with rebar in the legs, maybe cutting the bottom of the feet off to pour in concrete with it propped upside down? Kinda like I did my boot, but I wouldn't cut the plastic deer off! Maybe someone has suggested this. I didn't read all the posts carefully. AND it just occurs to me that you just wanted to do a head. But the idea stands. Just fill the head and neck with concrete, cut off the rest of the body. Ya got ME thinkin' now!!!

Never saw any cons on it do I wondered if it was a conifer. I have been trimming it for 10 years with the electric shears. Yes, as is it does look good but for the most part, I have been having my way with plants for my entire horticultural career. I have a spiral Maple tree, a Dogwood with woven trunk from three sprouts when it was young, and an Elm with a cubby hole of limbs where a gargoyle sits, to name a few. I prefer this one to look like a lollypop but it has it has advanced these past few years and is growing more branches at the bottom. My neighbor complains that his evergreens are getting sparse and losing branches at the bottom yet here I am trimming them out. (: I guess I will have to take parts it to the brown and see what happens. I may lose it to construction in a few years anyway so it may be a good time to experiment.

chay......go to ebay and use the search box and write in soft sculpture. there are lots of patterns there and reasonable too......

also look at this little doll in the link below...I have the pattern for this kind of soft sculpture. If this is what you are looking for, send me an email and I will try and dig out my book and scan it for you......

You are such an asset to this board that it would be nice to help you out too.
