This is an angel feather, sent from God above, to serve as a reminder, of his gracious love. It's from your guardian angel, that God himself assigned to you, And fell out in his struggles, as he protected you. Each time you almost stumble, Each time you nearly fall, Remember to, Thank God and his angels, for answering your call.

The stand....I cheated...I found it at the GoodWill..99¢. The glass ball I found at Mangelson's..a large hobby and crafts store in Omaha. They were on sale for 99¢ also. I found a package of wedding trims at WalMart It is attached to a fine net so you can sew it on dresses or what ever. I trimmed the netting as close to the sewing as I could without causing it to ravel. And glued it to the glass with the GE silicon glue and glued the beads and flowers with that too. The Feather was a long fluffy one and the glass had a small hole. I couldn't get the feather down in there..So I took a drinking straw and pushed the feather inside the straw. Stuck the straw inside the glass and then pushed a small dowel down inside the straw to push the feather out. I put some of the diamond dust...but won't do that again. Because it got static elec. and stuck to the inside of the glass. I enjoyed making it and will do them in the future but hope I won't need to. patti

Instructions for Pearl Twist Angel I posted about earlier. Pearl Twist Angel Instructions 1. Thread pearls on wire and put a couple circle twists on end of wire and bend wire flat against the end pearl. Push pearls towards bottom of wire. 2. Wrap end of pearl strand around pinky finger and continue to twist in circles (such as sample). Leave enough of a space between pearls so that they twist easily and arenÂt buckling. 3. Leave the last 4 pearls straight and make 3 sets of figure eight wings (around an inch or less wide) on top of one another in layers. Try not to get too many kinks in the wire. Use your fingers to smooth wavy or kinky wire as you do this part. 4. When wings are complete, hold tightly and wrap around the middle of the wings once on each side of the middle wire to keep them anchored. 5. Put the large pearl (head) on and do two tight curly twists on the top to hold it in place. 6. Use the rest of the wire to make her halo, twist around bottom of the curly anchoring twists and snip off excess. When using your tools to twist the ends of the wires, be very careful with the tips as the finish on the pearls scratches easily. 8. Make hanger from gold thread (for ornaments) or gold crochet thread and tie at bottom of halo. You may bend halo forward if youÂd like. Spread wings out like a fan. I do this with ornaments but we call them "You found me ornaments". Our card is VERY similar to yours. I believe it was started a number of years ago and even had a website etc. but trolls utlimately destroyed it....although crafters have kept the tradition going. I posted about it last year...so glad to hear about others keeping it going too. This year I have doilie angel ornamants, some bell/bear ones and I am sure I have some others I have made to give out. I like to leave them in the store isles, church etc. I had to get permission to leave them at the stores though.
