Best vent insert options for 6' duct work - please help!!!

We're installing a 6 burner 36" Capital range.

Our duct work is supposed to run behind our crown molding and out the exterior wall to the side. The crown molding is 6" tall so the maximum ductwork size would be 6" or we could do a rectangle 6" x 8-1/2" inch to get effectively an 8" equivalent.

The ductwork will only run about 6 feet total to the wall.

We're going with an interior blower and installing it into a custom wood hood that is 42" wide by 24" deep.

Anyone know my best options for maximizing CFMs that can work with my ductwork and the fact that I'm going horizontal rather than vertical? Obviously, the quieter the better but I know I have other limitations and I'm getting a little stuck.

From my research, it seems like most blowers with 1000 cfms or over need bigger ductwork. I found a Faber that takes 2 6" round ducts (1100 cfm), a Kobe 700 cfm that seems to only require 7" round or equivalent and then I start dropping down into 600 cfm blowers - would I be ok with one of those?

Please, please help - I need to finalize this tomorrow!!!
