Not an exchange but the Hutchinson Garden Club and McLeod Co. Master Gardeners always have a plant sale the 2nd Sat. in May. Plants are reasonably priced. The MG's and Garden Club have an exchange the last Thursday evening in August. To date this has only been open to members but if you have interest I can see if the groups are interested in opening it up. I belong to both groups. However it is not a one on one exchange, more of a free for all but everyone has a good time.

I like to join the cross stitch exchange club too! I am looking for a pattern to finish my project started 9 yrs ago. It is a new home welcome saying goes like this, Welcome may your stay be pleasant and when you depart may you take warm memories to treasure in your heart. I lost the original pattern when we transition our move to our new home. I have the project half done. Please help! I design and print out calendars for this purpose. One goes on the fridge with a magnetic strip and the other on the side of the filing cabinet beside the computer desk. The calendar for 2009 was ready in September so that I could keep track of mine and DH's doctor appointments. Some of those appts. are made a year ahead. On the back of each calendar I add a sheet that has all 12 months on it. I circle the date of an appointment in red on it so that I can see at a glance what I need to avoid when making future appointments without having to page through all 12 months while trying to write and hold the phone at the same time.

Thank you.....the picture really doesn't do it justice. I sewed little jingle bells in the cornerstones. I gave most of the little blocks away to the girls at the office so they may want to hang it up again this year.....and I'll probably let them. @:) SharonG/FL
