Does anyone have instructions for these....

I know they are padded, but would really love to find a template or pattern directions so I don't have to buy one and dismantle it to find out how.

Simplicity make a pattern for the large/Nursery size ones but I haven't been able to find anything on this size.

I have made them. They aren't hard to make, didn't need any instructions.
Used the Huggies wipes in the take along container. Layed it down and drew a pattern of the top and the bottom. Cut one out exact size and cut one out of 1/4" bigger all the way around.
That would be two patterns for the top and two for the bottom. The one that is the exact size I used to cut a piece of felt. I used felt under the fabric. Did not like the thickness of batting. Felt works just fine.
Did that for top and bottom. The larger one is cut from the fabric. Used heat and bond to adhere the fabric to the felt lining. The felt will be 1/4" smaller than the fabric.
Brushed Tacky Glue on the container and used the glue gun around the edges. The fabric will go down over the edge just a bit. Make sure that edge is glued down. When both the top and bottom have been covered glue your trim all around the edge. You will see how far down it needs to go cause there is a little lip on the container. You want the trim or rick rack or whatever to cover that edge of the fabric. You can glue a bow on top or whatever you want.
The gal selling them on Ebay is not really making much money on them.
The wipes in the container are $1.39. It takes about 1 1/2yd of trim and then the fabric and felt. By the time she buys the supplies and pays Ebay fees she is sure not gonna get rich.
One will take me about 15 minutes to make, so they are fast.

You won't have any problems tho cause they are super easy!

I'm in the process of moving right now and hope to be settled in by the week of the 4th. So maybe I can sit down and practice a bit.
I have some great fabrics I got from a lady on freecycle and these would be perfect gifts for friends and friends of friends.

Vellozia - Does anyone grow these??

I have a Vellozia species from South Africa that makes a nice little flowering ground cover for shade, and likes it on the moist side. Rather undistinguished when it isn't blooming, but different. Hard to generalize about this genus, as there are quite a few from the Brazilian highlands as well, that are generally tropical growers that can't take frost, and prefer a distinct dry season in winter, for the most part.

Ok I'm going to go in the other direction to say I have no use for the little guys as those rolls fit nicely in my drawer. The big industrial roll on the other hand is an eyesore in my kitchen. So, thanks to Donna, I put in a request with Western Plastics and they were happy to sell me the 18" unit, retail. It arrived today, and I'm very pleased with my new toy. Before... After... A few comments: - First and foremost, it works every bit as easily as the linked video implies. The film is right there to grab, you pull it out, push down the top, nice neat cut. - Cost for the dispenser itself was $38 + shipping. - Tube size does not match the typical Reynolds tube (pictured), so you need to order wrap from them. Their price per roll is a few dollars cheaper than what I pay at a restaurant supply, so the savings helped offset shipping cost. You have to buy the film in 'cases' of two rolls each, but I figure two 2000' rolls will make this roughly a once-a-decade event for me. - The only negative I have on the product itself so far is that there is no way to lock it in the closed position. My picture is slightly deceptive as I stuffed a straw to hold it relatively shut. I plan to find something that fits just right to act as wedge when not in use. Just an aesthetic thing. lol. Now, which is worse, Kelly, the toilet brush or the cadaver drawers? Kind of like that supermodel beauty Kim Alexis, who later became known for all those 'unmentionable' products on commercials. Another thing about brushes, in general. Have you ever cleaned a stagnant toilet that's been sitting unused for a while? You can see the brush marks only scraping around on parts of the bowl. The pads work so much better across the surface. Don't like the Scrub'n'Bubbles one at all. Clorox Wand is my fav : )

Oh Jenni.....I am so glad I checked in over here! These are sooo cute! I have never seen them....or thought about it either! I have about 4 baby showers to go to and they are all for girls....this is perfect, something different! I'm going to try it this week end. Great ionstructions by the way!

I thought about that too Jenni...going to get the fabric soon and see what I can get done! They all have to be done by mid August!
