Marcy, I've received seeds in trade for A. cana, but I've never been able to harvest much seed from the tubular agastaches at all. One year I had a bunch of "Salmon & Pink", yet I was only able to harvest about 10 seeds TOPS! No problems though from others; A. nepetoides, A. Honey Bee Blue, and those types.

My life long best friend swallows hers. She told me when she was a kid her Aunt told her she should never swallow her gum because her guts would stick together and she'd die. This Aunt was only a few years older than my friend so they grew up together fought like cats and dogs. My friend said that caused her to swallow it every time just to prove her Aunt was wrong! LOL

I've picked, so no need to make any more suggestions! I don't want you to waste your time on little old me! I felt if I didn't hurry he would tell me I was too late and there would be no pink for me at all. After all, it is just our closet. I went with Verbena. I did some searching on GW, found an old thread and decided this color had enough of the Venus Pink qualities mixed with a little more grown up colors on the strip. I'm sure it will be fine, no great. I do love that photo of the white dogwood, But as we all know, Photos Do Lie!!! especially when it comes to paint color. It has to look right in person.
