Hello,

Please help if you can. Simply instructions please.

MS Home Ed XP have IE7 never use it, current FF Ver. 3.5.5 current Chrome.

Newest things done. Upgraded to AVG 9 download and installed perfectly. Downloaded itunes, DID NOT click set up yet, and upgraded to the current FF mentioned above. That's all.

MS updates available but NOT YET downloaded are: KB976749, KB973688, KB973686, KB073687 and KB976098. I never have installed SP3.

Up to date and ran, SUPERAnitSpyware, Malware Bytes, and AVG9 I am clean according to the results.

PRIOR to the download of itunes, AVG 9 and Current FF I noticed the computer would hang and/or freeze. Many times I had to ACD to end task. Loading/busy time longer than usual. Now, I got a blue screen with "KERNEL_STACK_INPAGE_ERROR message "Stop 0x00000077, (0xc000000E, 0xc000000E, 0x00000000, 0x07374000)After this message I shut down computer and reboot. The computer restarted successfully. I still experienced LONG loading time as before and am scared it will happen again.

I tried to google this, but it was "busy" for so long I came here which took quite a while to load as well.

Needless to say this old granny has no clue...I am lost! Is there a simple fix? Can I do this myself? Will this all just be a bad dream when I wake up tomorrow?

Any help and or advice is greatly appreciated. I trust you guys. Thanks. Hopefully I'll be able to get back here for an answer.

    XP "Stop 0x00000077" or "KERNEL_STACK_INPAGE_ERROR"

    Link to Microsoft page below.

If check disk didnt run when it restarted you maybe want to run it manually and probably would be a very good idea for you to run a safe mode virus scan that someone will guide you that more of a securtiy guru than I want to be.

Here is a link that might be useful: Stop error 77
