I'm happy that it's only 20 lbs., due to the kilograms conversion. Twenty pounds is easy to lose. It took me 6 months to lose 20 lbs. when I had the time to eat salad & apple & carrot & exercise. Then I got busy & get into fast-food & IV myself with juice ... and gained back 20 lbs. WEIGHT-LOSS is a life-long-habit to MAINTAIN, rather than a goal to achieve. My lowest weights were achieved when I snacked on high-fiber & high-protein cereal with soy milk ... with at least 35 gram of fiber per day. I gained weight whenever I forget to weigh myself at least once a week. So true, I really enjoy the first 4 bites of peanut-butter toast, that's all I can remember ... the rest was just to fill my stomach. Dolly Parton stays slim with her life-long habit, she eats 3 bites of a yummy food, and NO MORE. Practice portion-control is actually fun, once it becomes a habit. So proud of myself last night, I had a sour fruit, so I grabbed a fig-bar, took 3 bites, it was too sweet ... Instead of finishing that, I told myself "You don't have to eat that, you can give it to God." So I wrapped the rest and put away, GREAT FEELING! It felt good to be in control over a piece of junk, and turning something over to God, rather than torturing my body with that.

Sonos provides apps for free download that run in the I world (iPads and iPhones) and also in the Android world (phones and tablets). They easily and effortlessly control the Sonos software running on either a Mac or Win PC. The apps work great! I may be wrong but it seems like you're struggling to use the equipment in other than the normal way. There is no good reason to store and play music from an ipad when you have a PC available. To send the music across a distance and quality limited bluetooth connection instead of over Wifi also makes no sense. If this mode is how you experience music skipping, you've just identified the problem. You're right, the music shouldn't be skipping, but I suspect the problem is other than the Sonos stuff. It's pretty rock solid and doesn't usually cause such problems. Think about these things: -How old is your router? Is the signal from the PC to the router and separately from the router to your stereo strong? Do you experience music skipping when playing music stored on the PC? How about when using a streaming service like Pandora? You can measure Wifi signal strength with a smartphone app like Wifi Analyzer. -Are there many simultaneous users of your Wifi signal? - While you have Wifi Analyzer active, how many Wifi signals from other homes do you see. Are you using a channel many others are? Try changing the channel to a less crowded portion of the spectrum (in 2.4, channels are 1-11) -Is the router located near either the stereo or the PC such that you could run an ethernet wire and use that instead of a Wifi connection on that signal path? -Is the PC you're using not too old, in good shape and with enough memory to run a few programs at once? I think you should be able to easily resolve the performance issue by looking at the other components needed for the Sonos system to work. Another thing to do would be to uninstall the Sonos hardware and then re-install it, in case there's a problem. It really operates flawlessly in normal conditions. Chisue, I rarely post on this forum, and in rather a rush so hope I make sense : ) I was in a similar position as you some years ago. Original weight was 115-125 lbs. at 5’5” – slender but enough. I became ill and kept losing weight, my lowest was 76 lbs. if memory serves. Sadly, you and I both know what that looks like and does to the body. I did have an appetite, but still struggled to gain weight. I eventually put on some pounds and stayed around 80-90 lbs., which was not enough and always fluctuating. If I skipped one meal I lost a few pounds. Dieticians these days are more familiar with weight-loss programs. I found no help with several medical specialists other than ‘gaining weight is very difficult when you are trying’, but that could be the area where I live. Boost and Ensure helped keep me from losing weight but not gaining and keeping it, and I added ice cream and malt powder making milkshakes with them – they were very filling to me. Disliked the higher protein drinks for some reason. They tasted odd. I’m not sure if this will help, because all our bodies and metabolisms are different, as are reasons for weight problems, but eating a few more carbohydrates with each of my meals finally helped. Slow going, and if I put too much on (3 pounds in a month or so) I’d lose it and then some (like one step forward, three steps back!). Kind of like trying to lose weight, seems the slower you ‘pack it on’, the more likely you keep it long term as it allows your metabolism to adjust. At least for myself. I understand you are looking for something now to help quickly, of course. But the long-haul is important too. I am happy to report I weigh 108 lbs. now and holding very steady for over a year. First time in 20+ years. I’ll add this: I was told everything under the sun – eat 3 large meals a day; eat several small meals a day; eat more bananas; bananas fill you up to much; eat more fruit with meals; eat less fruit with meals; drink fewer liquids; drink more liquids… you get the gist and I’m sure you’ll hear it all. I even added the powdered bulk-gain supplement to Ensure. Eating well-balanced meals with as many extra carbs as you can tolerate is my recommendation. Potatoes, pasta salads, rice, etc. The protein drinks filled me up and didn’t help me gain at all. Your mileage may vary, and I understand your appetite is low. Perhaps the protein drinks with some fries? And as others have said, there are medications that help with nausea or low appetite related to illness and chemo. I could not tolerate most but you may.
