I'm still trying to figure these out too. I was wondering where you get your little cellophane bags for these and what size they are.

Evelyn, I have a favor to ask. Since I have no clue how to even begin to design something....I belong to Soldiers' Angels and would love a candy bar label that says TLC 911 Chocolate Project. If it is at all possible, could you design this and it to me so that I could print them up and send it to other people in Soldiers' Angels? Or, if you could explain how to do this, maybe I could figure it out and do them myself. Please let me know.

Could someone explain, step by step, how you get your graphic onto a template. I have a DVD label template. I want to add my picture to it, but I haven't a clue how it's done.

I have both the template and the picture saved on my hard drive. I asked at computer crafts, but nobody seems to use that place.

What program are you trying to use?

I don't know a thing about programs. I have XP and word on this computer. After that, I need someone to walk me through. Once I'm led in the right direction, I'm okay. I don't really even use the word thing because I have no idea what to do with it.

I'm not quite hopeless, but I'm getting there.

Yarnlover, I do my wrappers in word. When you find a free
graphic that you like, just right click on it and save to a
file name that you will remember so that you can find it
again when needed (I usually file them in a folder I've
named "Graphics"). Then after you have opened a word page
click on "insert" on the top menu and pick "picture" from
the drop down menu and then click on "from file", then you
have to pick where you saved the graphic and then left click
on it twice and it will appear on your word page. If you
need to resize it to fit the wrapper then you can do it in
word by using "format picture". Just make sure the original
graphic is not too small or too big because it can become
distorted when resized. Hope I have helped. If you have

Thank you Evelyn. It gives me something to go on. I've never used word. I got the template onto a page. I got the picture I wanted onto the same page. Even got the picture onto the template. Now I'm just working on getting the picture to be the same size as the template. But at least I'm getting closer to success.

Can someone give me the directions for making the labels as I am expecting my first grandchild in June and would love to give out candies announcing his birth?

I have never made these before but would love to for my grandsons birthday party. Where can I find the right size template and graphics to do this? I have no idea where to start so any and all help is greatly appreciated. Terry
