Taskbar Question

My Taskbar is on the top of my screen. How do I get it to the bottom again? Sorry -- I checked FAQ...but could not find an answer. I know it is something simple....

Oh, I hate that.
You have to grab the taskbar somewhere by holding down the left click mouse, and drag it around.
I think to the side first, then around to the bottom.

I don't remember exactly where to grab it and for me it takes a lot of patience.
Dragging slowly around usually works best.
I always try and try again, then one time it works and then I wonder how did I do that or where did I grab it.

Someone else can probably explain better.

Mikie, I am quite sure they will fix your repoerted concern as Safer Networking Limited has historically been very responsible in fixing bugs. Howevr, there timeliness can cause some frustration. SNL knew about the slow starting as I referred to earlier. In fact, on their homepage where they announce v1.5.2 they apologize for it. It just took them quite a while to resolve the concern. Rita, Please rethink your position on CCleaner. It's fast and user friendly. Just use it with its default settings. The only people I hear having concerns are those who tinker with the original configuration. It is quite similar to the old Win 98 compatible CleanUp. If you do use the registry feature, it offers an options of saving anything a user delets. DA

I have that problem every once in a while, except only for the Volume, the Safely Add/Remove is always there. I Googled and found the solution Mikie mentioned, for the Volume. It works, for a while, then the V button is gone again. System Restore always said no changes had been made. I've found that rather than going through the Options, a cold reboot will usually work. About the Safely A/R button: does anyone ever use it? DA, I remember from 'way back when there was a thread about that Invisible line. I think I found it then, but never have since then. Computers . . . aren't they fun? When you are having a bad day, try this link. I guarantee you will have a smile on your face, or maybe even LOL! zep516..I went to MY COMPUTER and the USB Flash Drive was not listed .....so.....I inserted the USB Flash Drive into my laptop and then I went to MY COMPUTER and it was listed so I clicked eject and then I removed the Flash drive.......I think that did the trick. The games you have to do to fix a silly problem. It was annoying hear that ta da ta da....Thank you so very much for the info......everyone .....

Cricket,

If you are using XP or Vista you might want to try a simple Googling of, windows taskbar move. Numerous results will appear and several of them discuss locking the Taskbar so this won't happen again.
