To answer your question about Bluetooth, no, it in no way affects your use of a wireless mouse since those usually use a USB port for the receiver of the signal. The Celeron processor is Intel's bottom model, but for the uses you list, it should be just fine. My first desktop computer had a Celeron processor, and I never had a problem. Used the computer for a number of years and finally gave it to someone who had no computer.

The small 10" netbooks are just too small for my liking, both screen and keyboard, so this might be better. Still, there are larger, regular laptops in this price range that you might consider, unless you are set on having a netbook.

Definitely want something small/light and not a regular sized laptop. I am a sales rep and I travel and have to carry catalogs/briefcase etc. Need something I can put in a big purse/tote.

I do not want to haul around a wheeled cart either. My boss does and it is a huge PITA, I've traveled with him.

I have never liked celeron processors and steer people clear of them.
I have an ACER aspire one netbook that has the Intel Atom processor and it really is a good processor.
For less than that one you have there I got an Acer with an Amd athalon processor in the 15" size for $329 it is now $359 at best buy, it is bigger than my netbook but now that I have had experience with both I would prefer the larger size screen, I have very bad eyesight and for me it would be worth it for my eyes. I do like my netbook and have used it a lot, weight is a difference.

I think it is a good choice for you. I have a desktop, a laptop, and a 10" Dell mini. I like the mini a lot for traveling, because it is so small and light, but the screen is definitely at the limit of my visual comfort level. The one you are considering looks like a reasonable price for something with those specs, and I think you will find the screen will be a definite improvement for you compared to the ones on most of the other minis. I only use my mini occasionally, and so I'm happy with it for my needs, but you will be using yours more than I do, and that one looks like a good compromise considering size, weight, and viewing comfort. The fact that it has a full-size keyboard is also a big plus, I say go for it...

I will only be using it when I travel, or in front of the TV. I have a relatively new desktop.

Weight and size are big issues for me. I have Fibromyalgia and can't carry much, very far. I do not want a full size laptop and smart phones are too small, too expensive and too complicated so a netbook seems the best compromise.

I have used someone else's 10" HP mini daily for a week earlier this year and liked it but this Acer is just a bit bigger.

I think Acer is a good line, but owned one for less than a week because of software problems, early version of Vista about (what?) 3 years ago. I did like the "feel" of the Acer, it had the 14" screen, and for me that was a step down in size, but alas I ended up with a 15" screen and Windows XP, thank you. I hope the bugs are out of Vista by now, Windows 7 is here, right, maybe you get that.

Yes, this one comes with Windows 7 Home Premium, I found good ratings on it on Amazon.
