thanks so much ya'll....i'm glad you like it! you could use old coffee cans, or any can with a lid, and metal pie plates or cake plates. recycling the coffee can is great, and you can find cake and pie tins at thrift stores and even garbage :D check freecycle! and you'll also be able to paint the can any color you want... i had a few bags of old tins that were headed to a yard sale. then someone posted asking about what to do with old tins, and after i replied....i thought "i can't get rid of these tins!!" so back in the laundry room they went! i got them free, or thrifted and they charge anywhere from 19 cents to 59 cents...i don't have a clue how they decide the prices, some tins the same sizes have vastly different prices on them. go make some! kudzu

You're welcome, owbist. I'm thankful I was able to contribute something to the forum. The Cnet tutorials are amazing. I didn't know about them until last night. Unfortunately, I've run into quite a snag with Vista. I made sure Audacity would work with Vista before purchasing a laptop. However, today I've discovered that there's no external sound card with a dedicated line in port that's compatible with Vista... Even spoke with Creative Labs. The first man told me their new sound card is available from Dell with a line in port. (It will be widely available after the 15th.) At Dell's site I found that it's an optical in only for a mic which won't work for me. Called Creative Labs and spoke with another man. He confirmed that they do not have a card with a line in port as yet compatible with Vista. He told me to get a laptop with XP! sigh.... abreeze

Very cool, thanks so much for posting -- I have one of those "save the children" children in Bangladesh and I send her letters and stickers. We aren't supposed to send anything big/valuable but I think I can make her one of these. Won't she feel special when she gets it???!!!! I love your idea for paying your bills with the little inchies -- probably the nicest thing to hit their desk all day!
