User Poll: Favorite and best paid antivirus

My Norton's subscription is almost up and I'm looking into either renewing it or going with a different one. It's been working fine for me thus far, but I'm open to change.

I know there are alot of free virus protection programs out there, and I have one or two of them, though I don't mind paying to buy a great program that does what it's suppose to do.

I'm looking for one that isn't a computer hog, taking up alot of space and longer start up time. If they all are hogs, then, oh well, it is what it is. Another importance is being able to schedule it to run weekly (or daily). I'd like it to do "it all" in terms of keeping the bad guys and crap out. And, I'd like it to automatically update itself.

Is McAfee better than Nortons?

Let me know what you use and what paid antivirus software you'd highly recommend. I tried ZoneAlarm about 5 years ago and hated it. What a waste of $$ that was. Maybe it got better!!

Thanks for your feedback.
