Thanks, farmerdill. I had looked at Snow Leopard, just because it's such an attractive fruit. But that's still listed as 2 lb average, and down here melons usually exceed average. It's mostly for just me and I don't have many neighbors during melon season (most of 'em only come down from Jan through April), so it's hard to give away the excess. (Our only local food bank doesn't take produce donations. I'd have to drive 50 miles round trip to donate.) Something like Sakata's Sweet would be perfect except that hardly anyone seems to like the taste very much--sweetish cucumber seems to be the general response.

Well, it's Presbyterian....and who knows how old without the frontispiece. It was common for people to carry and to own a small "testament". I have one given to me by my great uncle who fancied himself some sort of an itinerant preacher, and I have a couple from various grandmothers. Where did you get it? What do you know of it's origins? I got into it now, but am sure I will have trouble next time I try. It's the part that shows all of these forums, but in their own columns, such as under Community it has The Kitchen Table and Get Togethers, etc. It's when I first open up the garden web that it happens. Of course, I don't shut it down the rest of the day!
