Gina, it was in front of the cookbooks in my kitchen where I was finally able to corner Thumper. I sure wish you could've seen the goofy faces he was making, a millisecond prior to that shot.
As far as the kitty, her eyes always photograph a weird, I'm-possessed, acid green, so, black and white to the rescue.

Linda, when Sam was little, everyone kept urging me to get her into modeling. But, at the time, I thought I'd wait until she was older, so she could make those decisions for herself. Well, I'm glad I held back, as Sam cringes whenever she hears the word: Model. It's just not her thing.
Aside from music, which is her first, true love, and teaches (actually, she's a teacher's aide), her biggest interest lies in Politics. If you want to see Sam come alive and keep her riveted, bring up Politics! She's eager to start college to study Political Science. But first, she'll have to graduate from H.S. which, I can't believe, it's coming, next month. Yeah, they do grow up fast.

Beverly, of course I'm a knockout! Was there ever any doubt? [G] I think Gina has a picture of all of us on her website, and I'm in there, somewhere - the picture is 7 years old, though. I would take another picture of myself, but I wouldn't want to be responsible for the irreparable retinal damage my undeniably-radiant beauty might cause.

Annie, I hadn't really thought about how much Thumper had grown, until I looked at the pictures I posted here, back when the "Gallery" was just a novelty to us all. He was just a little, chubby-cheeked wee-man.

Well, I'm off to the bookstore to look at more cookbooks. You bet it's a disease, but it's comforting to know you guys understand.

Wow and double wow! My DS who's 23 looked over and said "Who is she?" I told him she was far, far away in Michigan, and his answer? "What the heck is she doing in Michigan?? She belongs here with the other babes!"

Ellen, funny you should say that. Last year, Sam had every intention of moving to California, after graduation. She has since, changed her mind, and my baby will remain at home for a while longer - but I confess, I became very religious during that time. ;-)

Sol, Sam is so lucky not to have a scar. Ashley still has a big scar on her upper thigh from that bite last year.

Funny, I've never seen a deer tick here either, and I've lived here my whole life. Lots of blood sucking parasites, of course, but they're mostly human.
