We have the standalone (counter-depth) Liebherr CS2062, 36" French Door / Double Bottom Drawer Freezer unit. It was delivered and installed in May 2010. Overall we are very satisfied. Yes, we had a bit of a learning curve to follow in switching from our ancient Amana 'American-style' fridge to the Liebherr's Euro configuration: different storage containers (rectangles work best), and some adjustments to how we think about what-goes-where were in order. We are both ~5'4" tall (or short, if you will), but have had little trouble storing and reaching items on the top shelf. We removed one door shelf to create space for tall bottles and have not missed it. As other posters have pointed out, the excellent lighting and clean layout make it easy to see all the contents. Liebherr ain't kidding when they tout the strength of their glass shelves -- we stored a 25lb Thanksgiving turkey in a roasting pan on that top shelf along with the usual load of condiments, beer bottles and the like. There is no gasket mod available to make the CS2062 refrigerator doors self-closing, but we have simply gotten better at closing the doors (or hearing the alarm) -- and we have never seen the temperature deviate from settings, even when the alarm's been on for many minutes. The freezer drawers DO self close, once pushed to within the last several inches of travel. In late November 2010 (i.e., after six months of use) the IceMaker failed as follows: it stopped releasing the frozen cubes into the drawer, instead allowing water to (over?)flow into the drawer and form a single block of ice at the bottom. The IceMaker alarm light blinked, indicating the fault, and we then shut off the IceMaker. We contacted our dealer (Eurostoves), who immediately put Liebherr customer service in touch with us. They have promised a replacement part and installation to be scheduled in 4-5 business days. I will post a followup to detail the repair and results. A note to potential Liebherr buyers that I haven't seen elsewhere, regarding the ongoing cost of ownership: The IceMaker's water filter cartridge, available (not unexpectedly) only from Liebherr, is priced at $65, plus shipping, and must be replaced 2-3 times per year, depending (of course) on the amount of solids in your water and the amount of ice you consume.

He claims some of the measurements were wrong but not by much. I don't know which ones though. He had the installation book open and double-checked each measurement in the book with the actual refrigerator with a tape measure. He's very thorough. When he said he was going to use his own measurements I was very scared! He's coming back this week to finish some things so I'll be sure to ask him which ones he didn't like. Here is the only pic I have so far. No toe kicks or handles yet for the pantry. Pardon the dust! We haven't moved in yet.

I'm in New England, herbflavor. Though at the moment I could certainly use a visit to any place named "Lucknow." I (mostly) picked my appliances long ago. So I can't remember why I picked this one! Reviews are pretty OK. Some folks complain about the doors not closing easily, but others say they've successfully fixed that. Hilariously, multiple people say the install instructions are wrong and you need a slightly bigger clearance than specified, but no one will tell you what that clearance is. So helpful. In any case, I certainly can't remember the differences between the three integrated models. I'll have to ask again--the website doesn't make it clear. What's the diff between "panel ready" and "custom panel required?"How can the same fridge accept either a thin sheet of stainless or a 5/8" to 3/4" thick cabinet door panel? pal, I may in fact need to fudge the sides and back--should be close enough. The transitions could be tough, though.

hi Billy, Glad that helped. I can't see why your counters couldn't be angled/curved to accommodate if necessary. (Mine are copper by the way; it's hard to identify eh?) Of course, take my info with a grain of salt, since mine is a 30" from 2008, and the design may have changed in the meantime, or the French double doors are hinged differently than the singles. Is yours the freestanding or integrated model? Running a search of the forum, I see that members Marthavilla and Kitchenkat both have the CS2602 French Door Liebbherr. Check out this forum thread for some of the issues they discussed -- and you can click on their names to send them personal email via the forum if you'd like to ask them more questions. Another resource might be a guy named Trevor at the Eurostoves store in Boston; I bought mine from him and he seems very knowledgeable about all things Liebherr. Good luck! Hope the door issue works out for you; with the minor exception of a difficult-to-clean stainless exterior (which has apparently been fixed in newer models), we utterly adore our Liebherr and have never once regretted the splurge. The thing is sleek, silent and keeps our produce fresher than I'd have believed possible.
