Thanks for the link to Hidden Valley. Right now I am using Bill's Fertilizer, which I recently bought for the plumerias, so I will see how that works. I am in Zone 9 now and so far my plumerias don't have rust yet. But my cannas are starting to get it so I imagine the poor plumies will be next. For the bugs that love hibiscus I use Bayer Advanced for once-a-year systemic drench. It lasts about 8 months, then I switch to soapy alcohol spray. So far in Zone 9 I haven't seen any nasties, but I've only been here since June (and I brought all my Chokoloskee plants with me - about 200!) Anyways, here's one of my babies that I made with a Q-Tip. . . it has colors similar to yours And this one I've posted before is my favorite: This one I trained as a tree and for some reason has blooms with several different colors. that program does contain a registry cleaner if you did run it and allow the registry cleaner to remove entries it could have contributed to your problem. If that is the only new program you have added you might want to contact the manufacturer and find out if this is a common occurrence after using their product. When using any type of registry cleaner you run a risk of losing essential items. I personally never use registry cleaners. Try the microsoft option zep gave you by inserting the windows cd and following the directions on that page to do the recovery console, note that it also has the more information area with a second command to try. If it was your registry that got messed up using the recovery console might fix it. You did not tell us if this is xp or vista, assuming it is xp follow these directions first to try to get to safe mode and select last known good config, if that works then good if not do the above microsoft method. DO NOT FORMAT unless you are ready to wipe the card of any data. Also, format the card only while in your camera, e.g., let your camera do the formatting. A number of camera makers do special formats bsead on their own system. Usually, it means it reserves some space at the beginning of the file to record settings and time/date (file header). The photo content, if recorded in a standard format such as jpg will be the same as any other jpg format written by other equipment. If you format a card in other equipment, it may not be recognized by your camera and will ask if you wish to format it. That may be waht happened at Walgreens: Your card had a special file structure that was not recognized by Walgreens equipment, i.e., it wasn't smart enough to search the file for the begining of the picture content, or the photo was recorded using a technique not recognized the the machine. For example, if the card was written by a Kodak camera using their pciture format, pcn, it may not have been recognizable by the Walgreen photo machine. What to do: Find out what types of media the Walgreen machine can accept (CD, USB thumb drive) and which photo formats it can read (jpg, tiff, raw, etc.) Transfer the photos from your camera to a computer files such as hard disk, data CD, USB thumb drive, etc., and then take a copy on a CD, USB drive, etc to Walgreens for printing. Again, do not format your data media in the Walgreens machine. Do all your formating back at home. One caution: If you format a card in the camera, make sure its cells are charged or use an external power supply if you have one. Running out of power while formatting is a bad thing.
