Ann,

this was a fantastic theme - i now realize there are so many things that have been added to my "want" list. so many members' favorites are now my favorites. i'll be on the lookout for quite a few things that really caught my eye this swap.

i loved being the recipient to michelle's box and i really enjoyed putting my box together for diana.

thanks again for putting together another wonderful swap. i am looking forward to the next one and sure hope you are not too busy with your move to organize it.

thanks again!

Oh, yes, it was a good swap. After an absense, the return was wonderful, with a personal delivery to Cathy and a wonderful surprise from you.

Thank you Ann for all the work in putting this together.

Thanks Marie and Tammy for another great trade. I love the "venue"...lots of room and the clubhouse is ideal for getting in from the rain. Just perfect! Looking forward to seeing everyone again soon. Thanks to all for the great plants and great company :-) I ended up spending way too much at the nursery where Tammy works on the way home, but the plants were so nice I couldn't resist. Tammy here is the recipe for the Heavenly Hash brownies (or Mississipi Mud cake as some call it) Brownie mix - bake in 9x13 pan as directed on box. (I used the Triple Chunk kind) 1 bag small marshmallows sprinkled on top after brownies come out of oven While brownies are baking heat to boiling the following: 1 stick butter 3 Tablespoons cocoa 6 Tablespoons milk Once it boils and is well mixed remove from heat and add: 1 lb of powdered sugar (about 3 3/4 cup) 1 tsp vanilla 1 cup chopped nuts (I used pecans) Stir to mix well and then pour and spread over marshmallows. If needed add a little bit more milk to make easier to spread. Cool before serving to give the chocolate a chance to set up.

The kids and I had a great time, too! So nice to see everyone - and thanks so much for all the goodies! Erik, the kids had a blast helping with the grill, thanks for letting them assist! Oh, if anyone saw the back of my truck, can you believe that we managed to stuff in half a dozen barberry bushes from a 'please-take-these-away' dig on the way home? I had two in the front seat and would have been in extreme pain if I hadn't used the sun shield to keep them off me. (yeah, we're a little crazy...) Can't wait to see everyone in the spring! PS - Cynthia - we brought hot dogs.. =) Lynne

Got 'em! I am absolutely delighted with the seeds I received this year-things I had on my list that I was sure no one would have to share were in that envelope. I have gone through them twice and will go back through them again after dinner. I am so happy to have all of the lovely peach colored flowers folks sent me. I have visions of a peach and blue garden and it is really coming together now. I also loved receiving all of the various Sweet Peas. I usually just grow a couple of varieties, but this year I will have them everywhere! I love it! Thanks to everyone who sent in their precious seeds! And Miss Patty, you did an incredible job! I am very appreciative. Alana

Finally got some time to check in. My husband and I had a great time in our first swap. Everyone was so kind to us, from helping us to unload, and back to loading, and everything in between. Ruben and Brenda's hospitality was bar none and what a great spread they put out. We certainly enjoyed the food, drink and company. We got back home on Monday and even traveling several hundreds of miles, nearly all the plants made it just fine. I have most of the plants either planted or repotted and should finish up this weekend. I am looking forward to many more swap meets in the future. Hope to see everyone come Spring '10!!

This really was fun, especially getting to peek into everyone else's boxes. Plus I had such a great time shopping for my partner & playing forum detective so that I didn't buy anything "wrong" (I know it was all about my favorites but I still wanted my partner to love them).

I'm so glad Ann let me slip in under the deadline wire. Thank you for all of it, Ann!

I agree with all the others. This was a fantastic swap and I really enjoyed it. I too have added many new things to my wish list that I hadn't thought of or considered before this swap.
I also want to thank you Ann for organizing and arranging these swaps.Especially considering how busy you are with work and now moving, Really appreciate it....Thank you!

I'm so glad that you liked the theme. Of all the themes that we have had in the past this was actually my favourite. All the gifts received were so nice and I think that the fact that they were our partners favourites made each item even more special. And I think this theme made it much easier for everyone (or almost everyone) to keep to just 3 items. I have so many favourites that the hard part for me was deciding which three favourites to send.

With the American Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years coming up fast, not to mention my move and all that entails , it will be sometime into the New Year before the next swap.

It was a great theme! It was really nice to see what everyone's favorites are! I like the limits, it's much more fun, and much easier! Thanks, Ann, for another fun swap, I look forward to the next one! I don't know your method, but in every swap I've been matched up with such nice, generous, fun people! I had a terrific time this go round, both giving and receiving!

I had a blast on this, my very first swap! It was fun shopping for my partner, and also the sense of anticipation and comraderie as we all waited for our respective boxes to arrive was enjoyable too. Ann, you are a master at matching up swap partners, it's obvious that a lot of time and effort goes into this part of the swap. Thanks! I look forward to the next one.

Jessy is STILL HAPPY, Terri!

I used the blue baker on Friday night...one of them...because I found another exact one at a store by me and now I have a matching set of TWO!!!!

And I have your rub recipe printed and taped in my spice drawer to replicate when yours runs out.

And I'm using the candle on Thanksgiving.

And one of the two dish towels LIVES in my drain board, rotating in the laundry.

AND that Tayberry jam is still hidden from my family, none for them, its ALL MINE!!!!

Thanks for another GREAT SWAP, Ann! When is the next one?
