I have the Minolta QMS PagePro 1250W which was given to me without a manual. I had the top plastic piece in the wrong position and it caused a jam as the printed pages could not come through well.

The jammed paper is just inside the place where it enters the machine. It is held solidly in place and I don't know where a release button might be. I don't want to tear it out possibly leaving pieces of paper in the machine.

I can open the top, but I don't see the paper from the top.

I've been looking online for a users manual with no luck.

Can anyone help me unjam this printer?
