This is my first year wintersowing. I had 24 milk jugs and Sunny D jugs collected. I thought that would be close to enough but I'm not even done with perennials and I'll need to do multiples of some of those. So over the holidays we've gone to lots of family events so I've been hoarding the 2-liter soda bottles, even drinking just one more glass to empty the bottle! I've collected about 15 containers this way. My bf says that I'm "obsessed." I'm also "obsessed" with my dogs according to him. I just tell him that its better than drugs or something else illegal. I've got about 30 additional containers so as soon as I figure out how to unthaw my dirt, I'll be ws'ing again. Its a 2 cu ft bag of Miracle Grow and its frozen solid in my garage. I could in theory take it into my basement but I don't know how because its HEAVY. I really don't want to wintersow in the basement because I don't want to haul all those jugs back up the stairs and outside. That's looking like my only option though.

Wow, what a merry-go-round just to get here! I'm not allowed to log in...the format is changed & it seems my name & password were not recognized! When searching for this site I was given a page ending in December postings! When I fianally did get here again, adverts are all over the page! And I couldn't put this message in until I chose Canadian Member underlined. Only then was I recognized & was allowed to post a message! I also noted on my "newly formatted" Information Member Page my email address is not available. My days at GardenWeb are over I think. KISS & I'll be happy...just as true to GardenWeb as I have been since 1998. Presently the changes are wearing me down. Hopefully the weirdness going on here on GardenWeb will sort itself out. I like KIS. sam

Michelle, I got my package today. I am very happy with all the seeds I got. Thanks for sending me lot more extras than what I sent. Wow! lots of petunia which are my favorites. I love all the seeds. Can't wait to start them. Thanks everyone for sharing. My special thanks to Michelle.

I have that problem every once in a while, except only for the Volume, the Safely Add/Remove is always there. I Googled and found the solution Mikie mentioned, for the Volume. It works, for a while, then the V button is gone again. System Restore always said no changes had been made. I've found that rather than going through the Options, a cold reboot will usually work. About the Safely A/R button: does anyone ever use it? DA, I remember from 'way back when there was a thread about that Invisible line. I think I found it then, but never have since then. Computers . . . aren't they fun? When you are having a bad day, try this link. I guarantee you will have a smile on your face, or maybe even LOL! Do get the large screen and have the Volume on; if yours is working. Sue Here is a link that might be useful: Run, Rabbit, Run
