I think we're getting a griddle in our 48 inch cooktop and I'm wondering about the size of the Bluestar griddle compared to the Capital Culinarian griddle. I thing the Culinarian griddle is 10 1/2 wide x 17 deep. This seems a little skimpy in width (why not 12" wide?), and the depth is shallower because of the extra heat vent in back.
Does anyone know what is the size of the single griddle on the Bluestar? Their raised griddle/broiler is advertised as being 12 inches wide but I don't know about the regular griddle.
Also, what metal is used in the Bluestar griddle? The Culinarian uses a stainless steel plate.
We're getting a cooktop so we don't have oven issues to deal with. We thought about a 24 inch griddle but we want to keep 6 burners. Also, we know about the option of adding a griddle plate over the burners but it's not quite the same as a thermostatically controlled griddle.
Thanks,
Billy
