steam oven question-- steam for breadbaking

I've been spraying my oven with a garden sprayer three times (every three minutes) when I bake bread. My oven has held up well, but we are going to buy a new wall oven, and I'm afraid this steam will not be good for it. I know I can do it in a gas oven (it is well-ventilated-- have had no problems with that), but I'm wondering about its effects on a regular electric oven (a Bosch to be more precise).

also, we have not purchased the oven yet-- we have plans to. Am I a good candidate for a steam oven? I do not plan to use steam to cook other types of food. Mostly, I want to blast my bread with steam at the beginning of the baking process.

Do any steam ovens have a manual bursts of steam feature?

Thanks!!
