Do you 'need' the Yahoo toolbar? You can set Yahoo as your search engine by choosing Tools, Manage Add Ons and then click on Search Providers. Choose Yahoo, Click on Toolbars and Extensions and disable Yahoo Toolbar (right click, disable). Restart IE. The problem with toolbars is that their behavior is unpredictable.

It sounds like the history has been deleted. Try typing in and navigating to an address, then next time you start typing in that address it should auto-complete. If that doesn't work, then auto-complete may have been disabled. Which browser do you use?

Thank you Raven!! I just went to change mine--I truly hate Yahoo mail. We use Entourage now but like you, keep yahoo for back-up; it's what we were given with at&t u-verse. What really pushed me over the edge was the fact that the email list kept bouncing around and it was very hard to use the mouse with it. It wasn't a computer problem since in the middle of using yahoo we got a new computer and the same thing happened. Can I ask you a question? On my yahoo account is a list of people, some whom I know and some not, and comments they have made. How do I delete all those? I've learned to ignore them but I'd love to get rid of them. I'm afraid to play around with it as I think I might inadvertently sign up for something!

I too have been running unto minor issues when I use my Yahoo email service and Yahoo website in the past week or 2. I do have another email account and that one is stable; so is the rest of my computer. For sure something is going on with Yahoo/AT&T. About a month ago, Yahoo, Gmail, AOL, Hotmail and some other email services got hacked into. I'm guessing that Yahoo/AT&T is trying to resolve this problem which is resulting in unstableness of their programs, websites, email, etc.. By the way, you can check whether your Yahoo email account got hacked by checking at Yahoo's website below. If yur did, you'd need to change your password or contact Yahoo for instruction.
