From recent research I believe both GE Monogram and Electrolux wall ovens offer that feature. Not sure about ranges, however.

Both my Kenmore ranges have this feature. The first one was a Kenmore/Frig and the second is a Kenmore/Whirlpool.

I will say, however, the concern other folks here have voiced about delicate electronic boards being used on so many ranges may indeed be justified. The control board on the Whirlpool died in April - the stove is 5 yrs old - and was replaced by a reconditioned board, which itself died in October.

At a cost of approx $190 for a reconditioned board and $360 for a new one, plus labor, it is a very expensive part to replace.

One reason I'm reluctant to give up my old 1947 range (even though only 2 burners still work and the inside of the oven is hopelessly stained) is that it has a delayed-cooking timer that is not electronic. Of course nothing about the range is electronic, has half a dozen other advantages over newer ranges (don't get me started) and still works after sixty years. sigh.

Keep in mind that using a delayed start has potential health risks. You sound like you are careful and intelligent about it's use (the word roast), but many people might not be. Poultry especially should never be left at room temperature for more than a hour or so, which delay start promotes doing, so using a delay start could be said to promote food poisioning.

Another option is to get your range rebuilt. There are companies that rebuild antique ranges, even adding (if desired) modern safety and energy saving features.

I agree with cpcovey about it being a bad idea to leave food in an oven for a delayed start. I remember a couple of years ago, some company was advertizing a fridge/oven that would keep your food cold until it was time to cook it - don't remember who makes it or if it's still available. My old range had timer start/stop - I don't think I ever used the timer start although occasionally I did use the timer stop function.

Yes, I realize it's not a great idea to leave meat waiting to cook inside the oven for too long. I don't think I've ever had the delay set for more than an hour. I do see some ranges with automatic shut off timers, which would be helpful even if there's no automatic (delayed) start.

I have considered getting our old range restored because it seems so much more roomy and reliable and comfortable to work with than the newer models. It's still an option, but the old cooktop is electric and we want to switch to gas so we're doing our research to find a replacement first.

Trouble with stove rebuilds is that they are really expensive. Very few companies do it. Unless you live close to one of them, the shipping alone could be an insurmountable cost.
