Thanks everyone. But boy is it very depressing losing so many plants. A few more of my sarracenias died: my S. 'Cobra Nest', I bought it last year in a Home Depot in L.A., my S. flava 'copper top', and my S. rubra jonesii. They were nibble so near to the growing points, plus it was the beginning of their dormancy. I think it was too much for them, so they died. But I recently noticed my D paradoxa is gone. But I do have a surviving S alabamensis pup that was growing from the main rhizome, at least that's some good news, since this is an endangered species and it's hard to get one. I also have a VFT triffid pup and my S purpurea heterophylla seems to be recovering. So there is a bit of good news. So I'm looking at my list of my plants showing where I bought my plants. I'm hoping repurchase them this spring. My favorite spots I bought my plants came from California Carnivores, Lee's Botanical Garden, and Cook's Flytraps. Hopefully even visit California Carnivores this coming July. See if Mr. D'Amato remembers me. Well, I wont give up. But boy I have to learn to prooof ead my posts better. :-p

Thanks to each of you for responding! I had a computer tech come to my house & he said that the new mouse I bought did need some software installation (altho the box said it did not). He did that for me & I was right back in business. He also went through my installations & deleted some old & unnecessary ones & my computer is faster now. $37.50 & worth every penny to me! Thnx again...

We bought a different universal and it still wouldn't work with our dvd. We don't lose ours very often, but when it goes for a walk it is sooo irritating. The last time it happened (last week), everything just stayed off until the kids located the darn thing. We had checked all of the typical sofa cracks, underneath, etc. The bad part was we needed it so DH could use his hearing aide headphone thingy. Turns out it had fallen off into the trash can which sits next to the sofa. One of the kids probably had it on the sofa arm and when they did something it slid off. Only instead of hitting the floor it went in the container. I have a drawer in a corner cabinet which is acutally the "home" for the remote and all of DH's hard of hearing adaptive equiptment. When I do my night time walk around just making sure things are picked up, I stash it back in the cabinet. Gloria

Wal-Mart and Walgreens sell Blue-Emu. I bought a jar last week Monday and It has helped my knees, and my left foot that I broke most of the toes and just above the toes Jan. 2011.. If I put much weight on it It gets excruciating! Doc said I can't have surgery because of my age and diabetes -- might get infected. That has not been good for my health or gaining a little weight. I have been able to walk around much more since I started using it. At first I was afraid to use it on my hands because I might rub it in my eye when I sleep but I then thought if I use it early and then wash my hands it would be soaked in and I could wash. It soaks in quickly and the pain is removed quickly. I can't tell you how much this has relieved the pain. It's worth a try.
