Albert thanks for that response. I had forgotten about the test forums. Sue...thanks for your help. :-) I managed to straighten it all out yesterday. Tinypic was very easy to work with. I contacted them through their website and they explained to me how to find the address and all I had to do was send that to them and they removed it within 15 minutes. Yes, it left the red Xs just like the photobucket removals. I am going to slow down and be more careful what I am posting..lol. They had to start a new thread after my photo was causing everyone to scroll from left to right to read it. *sigh* All worked out now though... :-) thanks a lot! pm2

I honestly don't know why chalk paint became the recommended medium for painting furniture. It's just a water based paint, like latex and acrylic. The super matte surface would show oily smudges where you touch it often (like around the handles). In my experience, it's really difficult to clean off oil stains w/o messing up the matte texture and leaving permanent marks. Meredith K, I'd look into using the same paint used for your cabinets, in a satin finish so it's easy to wipe down. Sand the fridge really well to give the paint something to adhere to, and use a good primer. Go to the same store that provided your cabinet paint and ask for the right materials, including a good, smooth cabinet roller brush.

Not sure what that bracket is. Probably would not try yourself but ask your installer. If it extends behind the sheetrock, it should have been removed or at least covered in some way. Good luck with this one. What brand are the windows and how was the install (full frame replacement/new construction?)

We don't seem to have many food stains ourselves. My worst was in a white carpet and looked tomato based but I still don't know for certain what it was, A Bissell Stomp and Go Pet Stain pad removed every bit of it after I'd tried all I could think of including my upright carpet cleaner which will typically do a very complete job. But back to the food stains. Mother had some tremor and often had food stains on favorite pieces of clothing. She preferred I take her nicer things to the laundry on her floor rather than have staff do them (she liked her clothing hung and staff would fold). I bought a bottle of the Oxy Max Force and it was surprisingly effective. I'm not sure I remember anything really soaked in coffee but coffee drips were nearly daily and quite temporary. Mom was pretty vain about her clothing and its condition, she would never have been happy with stains.
