We have a PH meter here and the PH is 7.0 neutral. When we plant our plants in the ground we dig about a foot to two deeper than needed and about a two foot radius around where the plant is going, to give it a water filling bowl around it. So when we water it stays in the bowl and drains down rather than just spreading far away from the plants. I know it doesnÂt penetrate deep into the ground though. It hardly rains and there is a lack of humidity here. My husband is now driving long rods around the tree at an angle a couple of feet from the trees so when we water the water will penetrate into the root ball. We're also going to try and water twice a week to see if it does better if not than more water three times a week. People do grow limes here we see trees all over the place but they're not the best looking trees. The average person doesnÂt water or fertilize here and their trees are still growing not good but they're adult trees that bare fruit.

Here's how I label mine (I use this to make maps of my garden beds): Microsoft Paint is a program that actually comes with most computers, I believe. You can find it under your Start Menu: Programs > Accessories > Paint. I don't have a really fancy digital camera. The one I use is several years old - it's a Kodak. The digital pictures that come directly off of my camera are quite large, so I save them at 50% of the original size for making my maps. Then, once I've saved the picture to be the smaller size, I go to the picture, right click on the picture file name, select Open With, then from the next menu that expands, I select Paint. When the picture opens in Paint, you will notice some little "icons" down the left side of the screen (there are 2 columns of them) that represent some options for editing the image. This is called your Toolbox. Click on the one that looks like a letter A. This will allow you to add text boxes. Using your mouse, go to the area of your picture where you want to add some text. A "left click" of your mouse will start a corner of your text box. It's important for you to press and hold down the mouse button while moving the mouse to form the text box. Once you release the mouse button the box will appear on your picture. You will be able to type in the box. After you add the text boxes for your labels, you can just select Save from the File dropdown and close the program. When you reopen your picture, the labels should be there. I love the chandelier decor in the first photo, and those Fall trees in the background of the second one! Plus the green plaid in her table. So pretty. Yeah, I've gone to other sites like Flicker photos and run across some our gang with their beautiful stuff. And I can say with certainty, OUR decoratoring divas STAND OUT in the crowd.
