Has anyone bought a toilet from Faucet Direct?

I am remodeling two of my bathrooms and have found really good prices on full skirted toilets on Faucet Direct. Has anyone bought a toilet from them? If not, is there a cheap but trusted site online that people order from?

I am looking at getting the Kohler Persuade Curv Comfort but am not locked into that one. Any thoughts?

Yes, I bought my Toto from them. I ordered on a Wednesday and by Monday it was delivered. Great service!

I don't know about middle east, but yes, those are common in europe. Because washing with water is cleaner than wiping with paper after a #2. If there is a showerhead next to the toilet, as in the picture, it's called a douche. If there is a separate toilet bowl looking thing, it's a bidet. You probably seen those before. I think they are just too messy, so I like the japanese way where there is a automatic water wash system build into the toilet. I have been using them for years now and love it. Toto has one called Washlet. Kohler has the Numi and Duravit has the sensowash. They are more common now and a lot more brands carry them, even costco has them.(not by toto or duravit).. OK> So, I'm reading this post due to a recent experience with the plumber my GC is using for our renovation. I got a babysitter to watch my toddler so I could go look at fixtures at their showroom with my baby. So, I get there and they don't have many of the nicer brands on display- they want to show me everything in a catalog!! Well, thank you but I can do that at home. So, fine- I briefly look at the catalog and pick a few things to get prices. They gave me some pricing and I left. So- wouldn't you want to see products in person if you plan to invest nearly $2000 on them?? I dragged my two small children to another local plumbing outfit to see the higher end stuff I got quoted for at the previous place. The prices were more than $500 different!!! I mean to do I have stupid written on my head b/c I have a newborn? Do they just think I don't have time to research and will just take their price?? This mother has an MBA thank you very much. Fine. So I talked to my contractor and he said to approach them on the issue. I did. They claim their product is better quality and that you can get the same things from other dealers but they aren't as heavy... blah blah blah. That may be true for some Kohler fixtures, but not Rohl!!! And I don't even believe them at that. For the amount of money saved I can buy a whole new fixture in a few years if I decide to change it or it goes bad!! Can someone please tell me if these people are just jerking around with me?? I thought about how they may try to pad the rest of the bill if they adjust the fixture prices, so I'm not really sure what to do with this mess. This is why I do NOT trust vendors like this- b/c of dishonest people who try to make excuses for their ridiculous prices.

anyone bought from MR Direct sinks recently?

I purchased both my main sink and prep sink from them. They were wonderful. I had questions, so I called them and they took the time to make sure that all of my questions were answered. Delivery was fast. My main sink came damaged and when I looked on the web site it was no longer listed. When I called they told me not to worry they would send one right out - they apparently keep extra stock just in case the sinks are damaged in transit. UPS came the next day to pick up the damaged sink and the new one arrived shortly thereafter. The sinks look great (except that the contractors scratched my main sink - I am going to call them on Monday to see what they suggest to use to remove the scratches - I am not too optimistic the scratches are pretty deep). Silly me - I hadn't put the sink grate in during construction...

We have been customers of Faucet Direct in the past, though not for a toilet, and were happy with the price and service.

We are about to purchase a new toilet any day now, and like you want a skirted design. Our first criterion, however, as this will be a toilet that guests in our home use, is that the toilet flush completely and reliably without what is delicately called "streaking." For that reason, we are honing in on the Toto Vespin II, while not (yet) ruling out the new Inax Dover.

Those two toilets, and a few of their siblings, are the only toilets of which we are aware that gave both Double Cyclone (Toto's name for it) or Double Vortex (Inax's name for it) flushing technology, which is a superior method of getting a full flush with low water usage, and Sanagloss (Toto's name for it) or Hyper Clean (Inax's name for it) surface treatment of the bowl's interior ceramic surface to make it super smooth and antibacterial.

Thanks everyone. I am leaning towards the Toto aquia II or III. Most Toto models are out of my price range. I saw a good price on the site National Builder Supply.

I've bought 3 Toto toilets from National Builders Supply. NBS has great prices and customer service. I highly recommend them.

I recently purchased a Toto after doing the research and checking on line. The best price , by far was at the local supply house. No hassle with shipping , these things are fragile and can easily be damaged. If you do have problems resolution is pretty simple.
Since the advent of on line sales and big box stores , everyone has forgotten about a good resource with a knowledgeable staff and first hand info on how well things actually work. Check locally.

The first place I went was locally - I was treated rudely and the saleslady actually made me cry. I am glad I ordered everything on-line with FD. My toilet came perfect.

I bought an American Standard Town Square toilet, Kohler cast iron Mendota tub, plus a 48 inch vanity all from faucet direct. Their customer service, delivery, and everything was superb. I highly recommend them and I would buy from them again.
