Daltile offers a hex in "Arctic White", but it is much much creamier than their subway tile in both "Arctic White" and "white". My local tile store had a bunch of non-branded hex and octagon-dot ceramics that were much whiter than the Daltile, but IMHO most were not as well made, with the exception of one, which I think may have been made in Japan. If it's a small space, might you consider one of the marbles for that area instead?

Thanks for the compliments, especially coming from those of you who have had kitchens that made me drool! And Jakabedy -- your kitchen is the one that led me to the Sumi-E, so I am blaming you for ruining my backsplash budget . . . . ; ) They've taken the paper off of the glass surrounding the passthru and if you can believe it, it is even BETTER! I have extra glass, and am wondering if I should put some accent tiles amongst the subs? I'll live with it now, and then probably post and ask opinions in a few weeks. The installer said it can be done, just a bit messy. Contemporganic -- I used a local cabinetmaker. It is birch, and they call this "wild cherry" stain. If you are located in Florida or South Georgia he would probably do the kitchen. He is fabulous and exacting -- he has actually shipped cabs to Colorado for a Floridian's ski vacation home . . .

Trying to find a white granite for bathroom remodel w/o much luck...It all seems too motley...so think we might have to go to Quartz ... what mfg/Quartz color best fits the DalTile Arctic White. We are using that tile in shower...and going to use countertop for top of knee wall and curbing...

Your bathroom looks great. Does the photo distort how large the space is, or is it that lengthy? It is helpful to compare space that is similar in size to mine, and I know some photos are not totally representative of the real size. my bathroom is pretty small --maybe 5 x 8.
