Networking Help

Good morning,

I need help on how to get the internet on all my computers in my house.

Here's my setup- we live in the boonies, so are using Sprint wireless for our internet access. We use a USB internet Sprint card. I thought I could use my Linksys G router with the USB card to trasnmit the internet signal through my house. (I use an ethernet cable and USB adapters/connectors to connect the USB card to the router through the ethernt conection.)

Wrong- this did not work. The router does not know the card is there- the card's power light does not even light up. The card works fine in the PC's and laptop's USB port so the card is fine.

Do I need to buy a router specifally for a USB internet card? Do they even make these? How else can I broadcast my internet signal?

Sprint does also provide the card for the PCMIA slot- tried this in the laptop and it works great, but I just exchanged it for the USB so I could use it with a router.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. My family is getting cranky with me!
